   Be sure that it is ONLY the library BUILDING having its/a 100 years of celebration. The LIBRARY itself was “CHARTERED” in 1896 – The Charter itself used to be hanging around somewhere. Hope it is still. 121 years.

     We restored the charter and it now hangs in a place of honor (out of the sun).
