Beginner AI Workshop with Gretchen Schoser.

Gretchen uses AI every day in her work & her creative projects. She believes AI can make life easier, but reminds people nothing replaces common sense & good decision-making.
Her approach blends real-world experience & practical tech guidance, helping people feel confident – not intimidated – as they explore AI for the first time.

This workshop will be a hybrid event and will be available in-person and on Zoom.

GPL was recently notified that our current book vendor, Baker & Taylor, the same one used by many public libraries, has unexpectedly closed.

While we have a new vendor, Ingram, bear with us as we become accustomed to our new vendor. Please know that we will continue to bringing new titles & familiar authors to our shelves. In the meantime, we’re doing our best to track down books that were already on-order and keep fresh reads coming your way.

We also encourage you to check Hoopla & Libby for digital versions that may be available sooner. These resources are available for free with your library card. Interlibrary loan is another option; however, please note that many libraries are currently experiencing similar delays.

This will only be a short-term bump in our new book flow and we truly appreciate your patience and support.
