NOTICE OF GROTON PUBLIC LIBRARY COMPUTER POLICY DISCUSSION & VOTE

Notice is hereby given that the Groton Public Library, serving the inhabitants of the Groton Central School District, will hold a discussion about the addition of CIPA (Children Internet Protection Act) into the Library’s Computer Use Policy at the Public Library, 112 East Cortland Street, Groton, New York on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at 6:30 p.m.
And notice is also given that the policy with the inclusion of CIPA language will be voted upon by the Library Trustees at a future regular meeting of the Board of Trustees.
And notice is also given that a copy of the Computer Use Policy with the inclusion of CIPA language may be obtained by any taxpayer in the District during the seven days immediately preceding the discussion, at the Groton Public Library, 112 East Cortland Street, Groton, New York during the regular library hours, on and after June 6, 2016.
