The Groton Public Library is pleased to announce — we have been awarded a grant from the Children and Youth Fund of the Community Foundation of Tompkins County for $1,820.
This grant will be used to hire a high school teen worker for our GPL Teen Thing – a program for Groton youth in grades 6th, 7th and 8th as well as offset the cost of presenters for this program. This program will be teen driven and feature weekly presentations and free books for each participant. The GPL Teen Thing will start this fall and run through the spring 2014.
